Poker Ride at Gaming Club

Poker Ride is a game where the outcome is determined by both chance and skill. It uses a single deck of 52 cards which is shuffled before every game. The aim of the game is to get a winning poker hand. Regular poker hand rankings are used, so the best hand is the Royal Flush, the next best is a Straight Flush, and so on.

You begin by placing an Ante bet. You may also place an optional Progressive Jackpot bet at this stage if you want to do so. This would allow you to win the progressive jackpot if you happen to be dealt a Royal Flush. Smaller jackpot payments are paid if you miss the Royal but get a flush or better.

After placing your Ante bet, three cards are dealt face-up to you and two cards are dealt face-down to the dealer. Based on the cards you see, you can then choose to Call or Raise. If you Call then you get to see the next card for free. If you Raise then you must make a further bet that is equal to your original bet.

One of the dealer’s down cards is flipped over and becomes your fourth card. You then get a chance to Call or Raise again. At this point the remaining face-down card in front of the dealer is flipped over to become your fifth card.

Your hand will now be assessed and you will be paid out according to the strength of that hand at the odds shown below. The chart here also shows how much of the progressive jackpot will be paid to you if you made a progressive bet at the outset
