Casino War at Gaming Club

Casino War is a card game that involves elements of both luck and skill. Six standard decks of playing cards are used, and these are shuffled at the end of every hand. Cards are ranked as in poker, but Aces are always high.

The game involves one card being dealt to the player and one card being dealt to the dealer. The card that has the highest ranking wins. Your aim as the player is to beat the dealer, and you make money from three different bets.

  • The Ante bet is a compulsory bet on your first card. If your first card is higher than the dealer’s card then your Ante bet wins at odds of 1 to 1 and the game ends. If the dealer’s first card is higher than yours, the Ante bet is lose and the game ends.
  • The Tie bet is an optional bet on both you and the dealer having the same ranked cards. If your first card and the dealer’s first card tie then this bet pays out at odds of 10 to 1.
  • In the event of a tie, the player has the option of surrendering his initial Ante bet and receiving half of it back, or he can “Go to War” by placing a Raise bet equal to his original Ante. If he chooses the latter option, the dealer will burn three cards and then deal another card to himself and the player. If the player’s card beats the dealer’s, he wins and will be paid at 1 to 1. If the dealer’s card wins, bets made by the player lose. If the player and dealer tie again, the player will be paid at odds of 2 to 1.

Casino War at Gaming Club is a real treat. The table is very detailed and cards are displayed clearly with a smooth and fast dealing action. Large, intuitive play buttons mean you are unlikely to make a mistake when asked to surrender or raise, and after even just a few hands you will find yourself completely forgetting that you are playing online and not at an actual Casino War table.
